Still a great song.

Been a year since the last review, and this song is still amazing. They should bring this song back on the front page.

Could have been better...

the bass line was obsured by the drums, thats bad mixing, my friend
other than that the melody writing and dynamics were great, but being drum and bass, the drums should work with the bass, not try to fight each other for dominance over the lower frequencies, if that makes sence

PearlDrummer516 responds:

I think the bass and drums are good volumes, then again my speaker settings are probably very different from others' settings. Thank you for the compliments on melody writing. This was one of my first projects, so to see that my melodies were good then gives me a lot of confidence on my melodies now. I have since come a long way since then. Keep an eye out for my newer stuff.

i think...

it should be labled as drum and bass, not techno, it was an ok melody, not much special or impressive about it, so ill give an 8

People say boredom makes people do stupid things

i dont buy it
tiny problems: at 01:00 some of the notes are dissonant, could easily fix that, and what was the end about? just a long silence for no reason? could also used some deeper sounds, just feels like its lacking bass

ezthunder123 responds:

i dont know what happend at the end...

thanks though

woah

whered you get the vox? drums were great, the only things wrong is that at the end, it could use a cymbal roll or some kinda lead in to the drums re-entrance and at 00:13 it has dissonant sounds that you could fix with a modulation wheel, unless you were trying to get that in there

Melody is good for a videogame

A few ways you could make it better: the guitar sounds nasty, high pitched and gritty, i would try to give it a more full-bodied sound, and if that covers up the bass line (which it probably will) drop the bass guitar an octave or mix that too. The second guitar part is about right, you only need to drop the lower one. The cymbal crashes are high pitched, and dont fit in completely, so put those through a low-pass filter and (last thing) cut off those few seconds of silence at the end, itlle make it loop better

Connmann1015 responds:

ah man thanks so much for the advice. i couldnt figure out why it didnt sound balanced. as for the looping i cant figure out why it keeps putting an empty space at the end. pm me if u know how. im using fl studio 7.

Sounds kinda like...

a choose which mission menue, like the world map in Castle Crashers

Lookin like a mutherfugin penis

id laugh really hard if someone made a $3 bill with a picture of a dick instead of a president

JonH2O responds:

Oh.

More of a prelude

it strikes me more as the time preparing for war, massive catapults rolling in, sweat and blood put into bulding ramparts, a woman on the side covering her son's eyes. others may say its the battle going on right now, but i stick with my original thesis. Overall, very well made... woah, its already looping? very clean loop then, too! Bravo.

almost perfect

except for a few dissonant notes in the high-note chords on the piano, didnt really fit the the rest of the music, but the rest was perfect

JakesFable responds:

Hmm.. not sure where thats at, Thanks alot for the review ;)

I like making music as a pastime. I tried to make flash once, but i learned i suck at flash the hard way. :P I always put somewhere over infinate effort into making my music and would just like to have some people recognize it :)
